January 28th Veterans Transition Symposium

On Saturday, 28 January 2017 the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University will host the next installment of its F.I.V.E. STAR Transitions one-day symposiums to help veterans transitioning to civilian life in the near and distant future.

During this advanced training program, participants will be given the opportunity to develop skills in how to 1) better navigate the job market, 2) network more effectively 3) master the job interview  4) further develop their confidence to promote themselves as a veteran in any civilian industry.

Hosted by F.I.V.E Star Transitions and the Duke MBA Armed Forces Association (DAFA), this event will feature a combination of technical training sessions with hands-on-tutorials, mock interviews administered by Duke’s MBA candidates and panel discussions that feature the expertise of hiring managers and previously transitioned veterans.
